Cassia Elizabeth Jayani (formerly known as Cassia Patel) is a marine ecologist, environmental engineer, and sustainable design expert. She has built and led programs to catalyze ocean conservation through community empowerment, cross-sector coalition-building, sustainable business leadership, and policy advocacy.
After serving five years as the Program Director for the international non-profit Oceanic Global, she is now a Board Member. Cassia is currently the host of a podcast "Ocean Love", a series celebrating ocean champions that empower collective action. She is an accredited LEED GA, WELL AP, RESET AP and spearheaded the creation of Oceanic Global's Blue Standard.

Cassia will help you develop programs for ocean conservation, environmental justice, community empowerment, industry accountability, cross-sector collaboration, and policy impact as well as ensure your programs are creating the intended impact and achieved with integrity. She also offers consulting services for businesses implementing regenerative / sustainable operating practices and seeking verification or certification.

Notable experience includes contributing to the curation of five years of UN World Oceans Day, and spearheading the curation of Oceanic Global's Ocean x Climate Summit at COP27, Oceanic Global's Ancient Wisdom & the Ocean, as well as designing & facilitating Oceanic Global's Roundtable Dialogues: Creating a Common Agenda for our Shared Ocean alongside UNESCO-IOC and the UNFCCC.
